What Iām Doing Now
(This is a now page, and if you have your own site, you should make one, too.)
Exploring San Francisco
I have now been in San Francisco for over a year (moved April 2024). I love barely using my car (bye Los Angeles), hiking the hills, and meeting all my fellow outdoorsy nerds. Most of my weekends are spent adventuring, whether biking Hawk Hill, skiing in the mountains, or walking 32 miles around the city. Please, send me any places you love to hike even if they are far away.
Work
I recently got a new job working remotely at an early-stage hardware startup. Iām super excited to work on everything from the engineering to the fundraising. The idea is hush-hush publicly, but if you want to know more, ask me. Before I was at Pronto.AI, which is at the forefront of off-road autonomous haulage systems (AHS), as a mechanical engineer. Before that, I was at Labrador Systems, a robotics startup bringing independence within reach. I love getting shit done.
Networks, Builds, and The Podcast
Typical for me, I fill my time with all manner of side projects. I created the networking group Los Angeles Loves Robotics to help people connect in the robotics industry. I started an Instagram to learn and share about sustainable decisions we can make to fight the climate crisis š¦š³. Lastly, my friend Miles and I released a podcast called: Ambiguous Borders. In it, we learn and empathize with people and places all around the world. Miles has recently revived it so go listen to some new episodes.
Mines Alumni Board
I sit on the Colorado School of Mines Alumni Board as one of several amazing directors. Representing my fellow alumni at Mines is a huge honor. As a young alumnus voice, I love helping students transition from Mines student to Mines alumnus.
Recent Most EPIC LEGO
The Great Wave by Hokusai. Beautiful art for my wall. Bought this as gift when I first moved to the city.
Recent Most EPIC HIKE
Walked 100k steps from Oakland to SF. For me that was 48miles!
